Support services

There is a whole range of services available at Garden Studios to support your business. We have invested in the people, the technology and the equipment – so you don’t have to.

From photocopying to maintenance to receiving your visitors we can take care of it all and we’ll always try and go that extra mile for you.

If there’s something you need that we don’t do, we’ll negotiate with suppliers who can. Plus, because we have the buying power of a large centre, we can get a good deal for you.

You pay a simple monthly licence fee and other services you need are charged on a straightforward pay-as-you-use basis.

Direct dial-in number

DDI (direct dial-in) numbers give a professional touch as we answer calls in your company name at reception. Alternatively, calls can go directly to your office or be forwarded to an external number (e.g. after hours or at weekends). There’s a one-off fee for DDI numbers and a range of numbers for you to choose from.

Lines and call handling

Call charges are standard BT rates.  Your licence fee includes telephone answering by our receptionists, re-routing of calls to your office and voicemail, call handling, line rental and maintenance (4 hour call-out), voicemail with 24-hour external access, handsets, telephone upgrades and on site assistance.  When you move in, we configure your telephone set up to your requirements.

Internet access and Managed Networks

We have a leased line which is dedicated to Garden Studios and monitored 24/7. This shared service, as well as a managed network (plug and play) is included in your monthly fee.  The managed network allows you to network computers and peripherals without running cabling and equipment in the office.  The router and a hardware firewall is housed in our comms room.  Contact Us for further details.

PA / Secretarial services

We offer secretarial services such as word processing, mail-shots and envelope stuffing. Plus, we provide PA services such as confidential letter opening and faxing, and diverting telephones in your absence. If you’re running late for a meeting, just let us know – we’ll welcome and look after your clients.

Postal services

All post is sorted and ready for collection each morning. Outgoing mail is collected each evening at 4.45 pm from reception. We can also frank your outgoing mail and organise special (e.g. guaranteed) and recorded deliveries.

Photocopying

We have three colour photocopiers. If you have a large amount of photocopying to do, our receptionists will happily do this for you, charging the secretarial rate of £20 per hour.

Courier services

Speedy and efficient, offering local, national and international deliveries.

Stationery

We have negotiated an excellent deal with a supplier for clients at Garden Studios with up to 50% off.

Kitchen facilities

There are two well equipped kitchens in the building and a coffee making area on the ground floor. Coffee and Cold drinks vending machines are also available.

Catering & Refreshments

With 24 hours' notice we can organise catering for your meetings from our menu selection.

Security

Garden Studios takes security very seriously. We are monitored by Redcare with audio confirmation and have CCTV surveillance throughout the building. All visitors are signed in at reception.

Intercom system

We have a mobile intercom system available if you are waiting for visitors or using the meeting rooms after hours. There is a £5 charge for the duration of the meeting.

Professional support services

Over the years we have formed good relationships with experienced professionals. So we are happy to put you in touch with insurers, solicitors, accountants, technicians, recruitment agencies etc. We also maintain close ties with Business Link for London (who helped us achieve Investors in People) and local universities, such as City University.

Easy move in

Offices are available for immediate occupancy subject to receiving your deposit, first month’s licence fee, an administration fee of £250 (which includes telephony and managed network set-ups and a noticeboard sign in the main entrance), the signed licence agreement, signed direct debit and one reference. There are no legal fees to pay.

Health & fitness

You can enjoy corporate membership of the local Oasis Sports Centre from only £40.05 per month with no joining fee. The centre has a full-size heated outdoor pool, plus indoor pool, squash courts, gym, classes, sunbeds and other facilities.

Other services

Our chargeable services available on a pay-as-you-use basis, these include:

  • Secretarial – £7.50 per page or £20 per hour (minimum), additional printing and labels 50p per copy
  • PA Services – £20 per hour, minimum charge £5.00 (15 minutes)
  • Franking – standard postal rates + 25%, special and recorded delivery – standard charges plus a £2.00 handling fee.
  • Document Binding – £4.50                                                                                          
  • Laminating – A4 (£2), A3 (£3.50)Fax (incoming) – 40p per page
  • Fax (outgoing) – UK 60p per page, Europe £1.10 per page, USA/Canada £1.60 per page, rest of world £2.10 per page
  • Photocopying – 13p per copy black and white or 50p per copy colour
All prices exclusive of VAT.

We are here to help – from finding a local bank to lending you a copy of Yellow Pages. Or we’ll do our best to advise you on a good value restaurant for lunch, a plush restaurant for dinner, a reliable taxi firm, hairdressers, hotels, gift shopping or anything else.
